A quick run down; all wipes are going to be considered "canon history" in BD. This means that anything that happened in a past wipe /has happened/ in every wipe. There is no exact set time frame for how much time has past between wipes, and that will be set as a per-wipe basis.
Basic information that is gathered every wipe, such as Shinigami being aware of advanced stages of Hollowfication, like Arrancar, is /LOST/ every wipe, as it would be if there was a fresh wipe. This is not meant to be a magical "you forever know everything after the first wipe" button, but just to add a bit more backstory to future wipes, rather than the stale "everything is brand new" shit wipes usually start with.
Rules:
1) First, and foremost, if your name ends up on this list(IE, if you are a normal player who wins the wipe, or were a major figure - Other ways will pop up, as well), you CANNOT use the same name on the next wipe. This is to prevent the same names popping up in history over and over a gain. There are exceptions to this rule, but to use the same name (and this DOES apply to last names, not just first), you must have admin permission.
2) Information. Normal people aren't going to know most history. The only things ever retained are very vague ideas of things that happened, such as the name of the last Captain Commander, if you are a starter Captain or the CC.
What this means, is if for any reason, the history/lore created from past wipes actually effects the current wipe in anyway, normal players are NOT aware of it, unless given a history lesson from some one who would.
